KINGPIN RCON HELP SHEET v1.25                              (Mar-15-2000)

These are the commands you can run from KP console to control the server.  
This is provided you have a valid password defined on your client and
on the server.  See below for all kinds of quick details.  

If you know of other "remote console" commands that are helpful as an
admin, please send them over to KINGPIN@BSMANAGEMENT.COM and I will update
this document.

(1) make sure these lines are in your AUTOEXEC.CFG file...

set developer "1"
set rcon_password "YOUR-SERVERS-PASSWORD-SEE-OUR-SERVER.CFG-HELP-FILE"
set rcon_address "YOUR-SERVER-IP-ADDRESS"

(2) How to do things while connected, or not connected (if you get a server full)

"rcon status" tells map name and who is on, including IP address

"rcon kick #" read the number from status and kick someone off if you want to 
get on a full server. I usually pick someone with a CNCT status (which means 
they are downloading the map-and i TRY MY BEST not to kick a regular/top 25 player)

"rcon map MAPNAME" - change to a map; after your picked map, game will 
automatically go to next in MAPS.LST when level ends.  If you pick a map that is 
NOT in the MAPS.LST file it will loop on the current map forever; you have 
been WARNED.  Picking a non-existent map will sometimes kill the server; you 
have again been WARNED.

"rcon sv_gravity XXX" - change gravity 800 is normal, lower is moon gravity... 
400-600 is a good range for ARMAGON fun and shit. BLOODY_CLOUDS_JUNOR is 150

"rcon serverinfo" - shows server variables, handy for shit

"rcon fraglimit XX" - change fraglimit, useful for skipping a map, just set 
limit to 1, map will end, then set back to our normal 45-50

"rcon timelimit XX" - change timelimit, useful for skipping a map, just set 
limit to 1, map will end, then set back to our normal 15-20

"rcon maxclients XX" - max # of player (8 is our norm) -- you can try 9/10 
- wont change til next map - doesnt always work, might take 2 map changes. 
I always issue this command twice in a row.

"rcon say BlAH BlAH" - talk from console, if you dont want people thinking 
YOU are an admin... or just want to dick with someone.

(3) HITMEN MOD specific

"rcon hook_sky X" - 0 is can't hook sky, 1 is yes, swing from the clouds baby.
