As usual due to all the rampant cheaters... we have loaded BW-ADMIN 2.5.3-beta today on several servers. CAP and DPG specifically. If you are having funny problems with them today/this weekend, then please drop me a line; tell me your symptoms, and when the problem occurs. Thanks.

I have created DNS entries for our game servers so that you can access them easier, or if you forget, just type it in via a: connect IPADDRESS command from console.

Handy for those updating their server bookmarks inside KP... just put your favorite list inside Kingpin and stop worrying about their IP address.

Truzenzuzex[BC] has finally gotten around to updating (K9)CoolMack's FragBowl map. This map was released in Nov'00, and was designed for Hitmen (meaning it had no weapons, since the server contolled that function), but we enjoyed it so much we had to make a few minor changes to make it suitable on standard DM/CTC servers.

You can grab the map by clicking on this link. The file does exceed 5meg in size due to all the kickass textures, sounds, and custom sky used to set the mood of a football arena.

Truzenzuzex[BC] has released Team-DM_Nipples-r2... This is a small-medium sized map built in the guise of a Q3A type team-arena map. Truzenzuzex[BC] was inspired by Hypo-V8's KPDM1-quaked map, and really wanted to use his converted textures in a smaller map. Map has a sweet look, with a wicked space sky texture!

Despite the name, this map is fully designed for either Bagman or Deathmatch mode, with focus during testing to insure full Catch the Chicken support.

Finally had some time to coordinate with our new hosting provider and I am trying to get things working again.

Considering I work full-time managing web sites for a corporation, and have been very very busy lately, I don't have much desire to work on them when I get home!

I hope to have our Rune, Elite Force, and Soldier of Fortune sites back up again too....
Custom Skies pack (need for Team_Nipples-r2 and other maps)

Tired of hearing people whine, most of whom never bother to grab the MAP PACK we so kindly put together... thus I have created a small SKY-ONLY pack. This pack has about 30 of the custom skies that have been released in Kingpin maps... You can grab it by downloading kingpin-custom-skys-vol1, pick the Texas link, at least for a day until it gets mirrored. And it is about 15.4MB in size for those that are broadband challenged and have to "plan" their downloads... Enjoy. There are quite a few very very nice skies in there...
MMclient required by some of our servers

Just a reminder as more servers upgrade to using the CDS (aka Monkey Mod v1.32 anti-cheat beta DLL) that to be able to connect these servers you need to have the v1.32 client files installed. You can grab the files from Monkey Mod Website or 3D Downloads.

You MUST remember to change GameSpy, GameSpyArcade, icon shortcuts, etc to run MMCLIENT.EXE instead of KINGPIN.EXE. The MM software will check your system for cheats, and then automatically run Kingpin.

TanyaCheex has released MUGGS... TanyaCheex got a nice new computer with lots of memory (you need it for mapping) for Christmas (yes, I am jealous, I have a p2-350) and apparently is on a mapping frenzy. Map seems designed for 4-12 players, but plays great on our 16 player server. Grab Muggs from the PV download server (use the Texas link until it gets mirrored out)!
