TanyaCheex has just released TEAM_QUICKIE... We have been playing it on our CTC and HITMEN servers for last several hours. It is yet another quality KP-style map, just about all of Tanya's recent maps are. I tend to label it as having an industrial barnyard look. Has soom great vertical access, with some fun roof to roof jumps required to access many points. Should play fine on *ANY* server, but is geared with BAGMAN in mind. Grab Team_Quickie from the PV download server (use the Texas link until it gets mirrored out)!
High Ping Swing

[BC]'s High Ping Swing is back!! Catering to all the high ping KP players, anyone with a ping below 225 is booted from the server. We have turned off server side map downloads to cut back on lag, so PLEASE get the map packs beforehand. You can find them in the MAPS/FILES section to your left. You can find HPS on Gamespy, via 24.115.121.207, or access it from our SERVERS section (providing you are the lucky one that can get the picky plugin working)...

New beta bwadmin anti-cheat installed

A NEW beta version of the bwadmin has been installed on the CAP and DPG servers. I am sure this will cause some grief with players, but that is why it is beta. We need to work the bugs out on our volume servers... if it poses too much hassle (excessive false detects) we will revert back until a newer beta can be compiled and pre-tested again.
So what does this new toy work you ask?? Well when you get kicked you will see the following message: "BW-Admin incorrect response from client -- error cl_parserver message: illegible server message"
How do I fix my machine so I don't get kicked??? Well remove your RATE changing scripts, your flooding binds, key binds where you SHOOT/MOVE & CUSS at the same time, skin/model rotating scripts, name changing scripts...you get the idea.
Basically anything considered a part of the USERINFO client/server protocol messaging is being limited. Too much USERINFO "chatter" in a one minute period and you get booted. Remove your crap scripts and cheat attempts to "even" the game as you say and play clean.
If you think you are getting kicked incorrectly, then we need: copies of your auto/config.cfg files and and exec .cfg scripts, along with how to replicate the problem step-by-step. There are lots of scripts in use, many fairly legit "Rocket Jump script" being one... but I don't think they are affected. If so please send all the samples/configs so we can replicate test/debug. I *KNOW* for a fact that the lag/dodge-hit script has been being "abused" on our servers for the least 2+ weeks, as I have seen it in action. It is not a legit script since it floods the servers in an attempt to give the player an edge.
Oh yeah. PACK #12 -- When?? Hell if I know. This is a bad time of year due to heavy workload, holidays, crappy weather, etc. I am working on it, just have not had time to sit down (nor the desire this month) and finalize the quality pack. Approaching 40+ maps.
