Kool New Mod - Blood Money
Monday, October 22, 2001 - posted by Steelhead[BC]Temp home for Poisonville news...BLOOD MONEY MOD v2.0b BETA
The NAME for this Mod was chosen by none other than "Hogie" who has given so much to the Kingpin community and continues to do so by always coming up with new conceptual mod designs, he continues to be creative time after time and always seems to come through with new ideas.
This MOD is in Beta stage 1 right now, The idea for this MOD came about when we were realizing that something new had to be done with Bagman, in this we wondered how we could make it more fun.. so simple, a place in the map where cash spawns and you just pick it up and deposit it hmmm, so we said would it not be more fun if you had to hunt something down to get the money like BOTS and PLAYERS hmm... and from this a MOD is Born "BLOOD MONEY".
This MOD is very similar to Bagman accept you don't get your cash from a cash spawner in the map, you hunt down BOTS and PLAYERS to get your cash... You then take the money back to your safe and deposit it, much like Bagman you can also rob the other teams safe. The object of the game is to acquire as much cash for your team as possible, the mod keeps track of your deposits, how much money you steal and also even keeps track of your favorite weapon. We have a lot of new design work that has been done by "Hogie" and will later be added to the MOD.
The development of this MOD has been made possible also by {GT}TheGhost, {GT}Freak, {GT}PitBullet, {GT}Deeg, {GT}Frost, {GT}Vita , {GT}GmanKill, {GT}Bandit, {GT}PsychoTaz and {GT}Knight.
ENJOY!

Orgessey and Mr.Damage are working to get the domain moved to another caring gaming site. Stay tuned.
Some of our website was STILL sitting on Poisonville.com and is unavailable right now. Be patient we will get things patched up within a week.

Sunday, October 14, 2001 - posted by Truzenzuzex[BC]Kingpin mapper/packing utility updated again!Crusader's Revenage (oraciusdm9.bsp) [DM] by Oracius is a small 3-5 player map from our friends over in Europe. Another nice small frag fest.
Burn Cycle (kpq2-burn_cycle_kp.bsp) [DM] Quake2 conversion by {GT}*Knight*
and
Asylum (asylum.bsp) [DM] by WhoopAss is a medium sized map suitable for 4-12 players. This is by far his best to-date and I for one am fairly impressed by the layout and mapping style. Now if the map only had some spooky ass sounds, nasty fog, and the occassional crazy flashing lites it would be a nice Halloween fest.
Download the maps from here: Crusader's Revenage, Burn Cycle, and Asylum.
As usual you will find these maps in rotation on the [BC] game servers.

If you are a mapper, and need to package your files this is the way to go... I used a beta version to package Ganthet[BC]'s last map.
